JP - Going back to the Underground

“I’m sure we can figure it out later…” Annie said with a shrug as they made their way to the Meta Underground.

Ami huddled close to the twins. Her head was still spinning a little.

Lotus and Leon did all they could to help Ami stay calm. They were obviously worried about her.

Lyle got off the phone and looked at the kids "that was Mark he says Tzeitel, Klaire, Cody, and James are alright" he said before looking over at Annie "they also got word Joel was badly injured in a car accident. Abraham is going to get him and bring him to the underground."

Annie nodded, focusing on driving. “Okay…” She didn’t want to show it, but she was extremely worried about Joel.

Ami doubted that Tzeitel really was alright. She slumped in her seat.

Lyle held Anna close as they got to the underground. Once they arrived he carried her inside to the medical wing.

At the Underground Ami continued to stay close to the twins. They were both younger than her, but she felt safer with them.

Leon and Lotus held onto Ami’s hands, following Annie as she took them to a safe room to relax.

Ami fidgeted and moved restlessly in the room. She wanted Tzeitel.

“Do you wanna go walking around?” Lotus asked, her brother close behind.

“I guess.” Ami said, tilting her head as she heard some of the adults getting the text from Frisk.

"Seems like Joel just got out of surgery" Lyle said looking at his text.

Bella was scratching at the door and barking, wanting to go find Bronte.

Lotus and Leon stared at Lyle. “We wanna see uncle Joel!” They blurted.

Annie was out the door like lightning, though.

"Here why don't we all go together we can also visit Anna" Lyle offered to Bella and the kids.

“Okay.” Ami said again, still distracted with worry over Tzeitel and talking rocks.

The moment the door opened, Bella rushed off to find Bronte.

“I don’t think she wants to go with us, Uncle Lyle…” Leon said.

Lotus giggled and held Ami’s hand. “Lets go check on people and see if…uh…if Auntie Tzeitel is here!”

"She's probably going to find someone" Lyle replied watching her go "she won't be able to get out we're on lockdown."

“Okay,” Leon said.

“I want Tzeitel.” Ami said, hoping she was not drunk or hurting herself in the gym.

"Tzeitel on her way back with Cody" Lyle replied "I'll take you to her when she gets here."

Ami fidgeted unhappily.

Lyle led the children to the room they had Joel and Anna in.

Lotus and Leon went to Anna first since Annie was with Joel.

Lyle walked over with them giving Anna a warm smile.

Ami looked at Anna, trying to smile.

Anna smiled in a tired manner. “You lot okay?” She asked them all, her eyes going to Ami with concern. “You okay, kiddo?”

“I guess.” Ami shrugged.

Lyle put a hand on Ami's shoulder "it's ok"

A tear escaped Ami.
