JP - The Keep - Kitchen - Pie

Bella sighed and rolled her eyes. Rook and Ferrus were easier to understand than this guy.

Piritta finished the food in front of her and began looking for more.

Ferrus leaned over and kissed her cheek "something tells me if Miyuki's going to need our help after this."

Bella nodded and watched Piritta.

“Kuolen nälkään.” Piritta told Bella in a serious voice.

Bella pointed toward the kitchen for Piritta.

“Kiitos.” Piritta said and headed down to the kitchen.

When the pie was finally ready, Bjorn got it out and let it cool for a bit. Once he was sure it wasn’t too hot, he made sure Ila got the first slice. “For my friend!” He chimed.

Ila smiled, accepting the slice. “Thanks.”

“I really hope you like it!” Bjorn said, his eyes full of joy like a kid at christmas.

"Glad to see you both are adjusting well" Alex said as he entered the kitchen.

“Hello Alex.” Ila said, tensing then relaxing when she recognized him.

“Friend Alex! Hello! Want some blueberry pie?!” Bjorn said joyously.

"I love some although you think you can make some of Miyuki's favorite dessert, something tells me she's going to be dealing with some heartbreak soon" Alex replied.

Bjorn nodded. “Yes, of course. Offer her a slice of blueberry pie, too, though.” He looked at Ila, waiting for her to take a bite.

Alex smiled and dug in "it's delicious" he spoke in between bites.

Ila took a bite and closed her eyes in delight. She grew up rich, had eaten all sorts of pastries. But this was the best she had ever eaten.

Upon seeing the look of delight on Ila’s face and hearing Alex’s praise, Bjorn felt extreme happiness. “I’m glad you do! I honestly have no clue how I’m so good at baking and cooking, but I’m happy I can bring joy to people through it.”

"That's good with everything that's happening, people could use some joy " Alex replied.

“This pie is amazing.” Ila told Bjorn.

If Bjorn had a tail it would be wagging. “I’m glad you like it. Now, I should get to work on that dessert Miyuki likes.” He turned and went to find the ingredients he needed.

"By the way I wanted to ask do you think you can make a wedding cake?" Alex asked finishing his slice.

“Uh….why?” Bjorn asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I intend to eventually ask for Beatrix's hand in marriage" Alex explained.

“You may want to ask that question before jumping to making a cake…” Bjorn replied.

"I'm being hopeful" Alex admitted " I mean I love her how could I not after everything she's done for me."

”Apua!” Piritta shouted dramatically as she entered the kitchen. “Kuolen jos en syö.”

Bjorn rolled his eyes and smiled, offering a slice of pie to Piritta. “There is plenty of food to go around, Miss Piritta.” He said in a friendly tone.

“Paljon kiitoksia!” Piritta cried, devouring the pie.

“Do…do you like it?” Bjorn asked, a slight blush on his face. Piritta had been the first woman in his memory that he found interest in, but he was not going to rush. If he could only start to remember his own past maybe he could give her and anyone else here what they needed - a kind friend.

“Joo.” Piritta said politely, licking her plate clean.

Happy to see her enjoy the pie, he offered a plate of food he’d saved just for her and kept warm. “Here you go.” He said.

“Kiitos!” Piritta happily dug into the plate of food.

Bjorn just happily watched Piritta eat, oblivious to everyone else staring at him for doing so.
