JP - the Keep - Kitchen - Wise Fox Lady

Meanwhile, Ila and Aislyn were glazing the sticky buns. A wild-haired redhead smelled them and fell down the stairs into the kitchen. She was fine… She was used to falling down the stairs. Soon she was arguing with Aislyn about how many sticky buns she should get.

After some time, Miyuki would return. She was fully dressed in clean clothes and when she stepped into the kitchen, she frowned at the arguing. Perhaps she should return another time? Turning, she tried to sneak out of the room again.

“Miyuki! Quick, before Lia eats them all!” Aislyn swiftly stuffed a plate holding a sticky bun in Miyuki’s hands.

“I’m not going to eat them all!” Liadan argued. “I just don’t see why you think you need to give sticky buns to everyone in the Keep. Hardly anyone even knows you baked them.”

Miyuki just stared at the plate. “No…I don’t…” She tried to say, but the two women seemed engrossed in their argument.

“Just take it.” Ila said quietly to Miyuki as the old friends argued amongst themselves. “Aislyn’s bakery was famous for them before the Raid.”

Setting the plate aside, Miyuki slipped away.

“And now you scared off the new person!” Aislyn scolded Liadan.

“She obviously knows I should get that sticky bun. The fox lady is wise.” Liadan proclaimed and took a bite of the abandoned sticky bun.

Bella slipped into the kitchen and stole a few sticky buns, sneaking into a corner to eat them.

The theft did not go unnoticed.

“I wish Bella would wear clothes, in the kitchen at least.” Aislyn sighed.

“I wish she would talk.” Liadan had been very wild herself when she was younger, though she had always worn clothes. Liadan snagged a few more sticky buns while Aislyn was distracted.

Bella looked at the women and gave Aislyn a nasty look before eating another of her stolen snacks. She simply felt the need to walk around naked more now.

“What was that look for?” Aislyn asked, hurt.

Liadan snickered as she ate another sticky bun.

Bella went over to Aislyn on all fours and rose up to her feet where she patted the woman on the back comfortingly. It was cute how everyone thought she was going to willingly wear clothes.

Aislyn sighed. Bella was completely wild and it did not seem like anyone could get through to her on a lot of things. Not the least of them being clothes.
