Alex was setting up his camp when he heard the gunshots not too far in the distance. He knew the rangers were hunting criminals but the shots sounded like they were clode to. "Rainey" He shouted dropping everything and running in that direction. He ignored everything around him the gunshots, screaming, and everything else that wasn't her. He wasn't sure if he got shot but he could feel a stinging pain in his arm. Eventually he found her on the ground.

"No no no Rainey" he said scooping her into his arms as he began to make his way with her to the house. "Stay with me Rainey I can't lose you." Grunting as he felt himself get hit again, he pushed forward eventually spotting Marley and Sam handing her to them before he collapsed.
