The Front of the Fight

JP with Alexis, Gonyaul and Hunter:

Seeing as his spear was stuck in the corpse and earth and four spearmen were heading for him, Hunter sprinted back to where the horse was heading and pulled out some caltrops and dropped them behind him as he tried to stay ahead of the spearmen. Since the caltrops were made of metal and the same color of the ground it would be hard for the spearmen to see them before stepping on them.

The spearmen were yelling at Hunter in their native language and to coordinate their advancement. Hunter had fled from the two spear thrusts and they pursued. They easily saw him throw something on the ground, they were spike like objects. The two closest easily jumped over them. The other two simply ran around them. Hunter now had four men like a wave approaching. One of the four threw his weapon at Hunter, while he was running away towards the horse.

Hunter grunted as he noticed the ruffians dodge his caltrops as if they knew what they were somehow. Then he saw the spear headed for him so he cut left to dodge the spear and pulled out two poisoned throwing daggers and flung them at the closest ruffians before running again at a full sprint.

“Mac na galla!”

Alexis cursed as the men descended on them.

“We don’t have time for this!”

Holding her nervously dancing horse steady, she saw one of them swiftly approaching her as he kept an eye on the carnage at the front and back.

He came to her side, darkly grinning at her and reaching out to grab und pull her from the horse.
Alexis twisted away from him forcing him to step a bit closer.

Close enough to ram her elbow in his face full force and have him stumble back.

Taking advantage of that, Alexis dismounted in a fluid motion and drew her sword.
When the man with the now heavily bleeding had gathered his bearings enough to spit profanities at her, Alexis drew her blade across his chest in a diagonal slash.
