Rush of Hope

Jp with Lucian & Omni

Tarmen wasn’t sure about cutting the binds before an attempt, he had been picked clean of all sharp items. He had the imp, though that didn’t surprise him. Other than that it was just... his necklace.
He wasn’t sure why they had left his trophy necklace, but it could be his ticket.

Not sure how best to get it to his hands, he took a breath to prepare and stumbled. Genuinely cursing as he leaned into it, he knocked into one of their captors, knocking the torch from their hand as he seemed to hit the bumpiest cave floor in all of Arcadia. While the commotion had yet to settle, he maneuvered his necklace to the floor, then rolled over it to get his hands on it. Taking a pained breath, he ripped the string apart to scatter a few of the items, each one a major loss that he would avenge later. He found the largest claw among them and stashed it under his belt.

He made himself look pathetic in attempting to stand, yelling as if cursing.

“Might have a way to cut the bonds! Just have to keep it hidden.”

Getting to his knees, he did take a moment to look at what remained of his precious trinkets. Triumphs and valuable lessons lay scattered and with everything happening, he found himself in a moment of weakness.

Voah was starting to get nervous being bound and if it kept up any longer she was going to freak out. Prayers of Cambena were already whispering past her lips. She feared enslavement and would rather die then live a life without freedom.

Tarmen’s news brought a thin rush of fresh hope to Voah’s heart. Oh thank Cambena.

Now to find the right moment... Or make it for themselves... but three spears… they couldn’t afford ro make any mistakes. Why did it have to be spears? She thought back to the spear she took to the side of the face on Sentinel. Though it healed perfectly… she didn’t look forward to that pain again.

“Next rest I think…” she responded to Tarmen, as if asking if he was ok.
