Lord Commander office after two bells
Wolf listened to the Lord Commander's replies. Wolf was used to giving his advice or suggestions. Wolf had seen what happens a few times if you underestimate nomadic tribes. Wolf could see that the Lord Commander had a plan and nothing else had to be said or explained. Wolf knew he was not even a night and the Lord Commander does not answer to him. This was the only outpost here from the Empire. More troops would help.
Drinking the last of his brandy. Wolf now knew there was more to the Ostiarium's tradable goods. Wolf plan on looking into it more on his own. There had to be more to this place than what he has seen and not all nobles are equal. Wolf should have known that Wim had to be here for a reason. It became obvious that his family was not happy with Wim for some reason. The Lord Commander's eyes were everywhere on everything.
Wolf watched the Lord Commander walk to his desk and Sit. Wolf knew their meeting had come to an end. with the mentioning, There will be celebrating The Fall Festival and Being invited by the Lord Commander to his little private gathering at the Keep showed Wolf had made some impression.
Wolf gave a small bow "until next time Lord Commander, Thank you for your time and the meeting. I look forward to your invitation," said Wolf earnestly. After the Lord Commander dismissed wolf. Wolf turned and walked to the door he came in from wolf left with whoever was go guide Wolf out. If no one did he just went back the way he came in.
Wolf stopped looking over the fighters in the courtyard he would pause as long as they would let Wolf stay. Wolf was no sword expert but he knew how to spot them. He saw some of the mercenaries or men at arms as some were called from the ship. Most looked good and well skilled He made a mental note of the good ones. Wolf knew you would never know when you would need a few men at arms for a task.
