Islana was glad the other woman didn't just tell her to go away. She hadn't really expected that to be the case, but she also didn't know Alexis that well.

Might as well just ask, "I've never been a part of a raid before. I've never witnessed one. I probably should have asked before I agreed to go but I didn't and now I'm wondering....well ...what is going to happen tomorrow? What did I agree to?"

Now, to see, would Alexis just decide Islana was stupid and not worth her time or would she answer her question?Despite, Islana's own thoughts about her questions she really hoped she had judged Alexis correctly as the person to ask.
