Sadir nodded at Wim understanding his concerns and glad the young man could see the potential of a future alliance by tying their families.
He knew Wim's family paid tribute to Sir Zane back in Salos as they occupied some of the lands controlled by the Baron in Bloodstone.

"I am willing to take the risk of not having your father approve or give his blessing to this union." he started slowly considering the implications and the rationale. "We can easily have Sir Zane or even the Duke give us their consent. Most nobles in the city are Knights and they are geared towards the military. It will be a few years before some of the more establish houses is Salos decide to come and brave Arcadia, leaving the door open for our own class to be formed." he explained his reasoning. "Your older brother is your father's successor to his lands and wealth back home, but you carry his name. And that is all we need to secure our mutual interests in this new land." he concluded. He went on to explain to Wim that he was already the owner of the land where both mills were built in the city and that several of the logging camps, once completely cleared would be owned by him. On top of that he already owned several businesses in the city, namely in Lowood.

The fact that Wim had showed immediate concern for his daughter's wellbeing and social status showed Eren Sadir that he had chosen well. Although young and headstrong the young noble showed promise.
"Once the union takes place, you will join us here. temporarily of course. You will be taking on a more prominent role within our business interests. And by then maybe we will have built a house for you two. " he told Wim assuring him that it was not an issue.

"Spring is coming and we have much to discuss, if you accept my proposal." he told Wim. "Also I would prefer if you won my daughter over and I did not have to force her to wed you.." he said wanting to have this agreed on as soon as possible.
