View character profile for: Voah Sahnsuur
Voah took it slow. The walk to Suncross was nice but left her feeling tired. So tired. She had to push through it though, she knew. It was like the malady that afflicted her had a will of its own that was trying to make her give up and lay down.
She took it slow, pacing the colonnades surrounding the rectory gardens until she felt it was time for another dose of the stuff given to her by the good Apothecary. Pouring herself some hot water, she mixed the medicinal herbs and spices into the vessel and sat with her legs dangling over the side of the colonnade deck. Wrapped in a warmer hooded robe, the Arbiter inhaled deeply but coughed it out weakly. She had set her spherical censer on a small silver pentapod, it was smoking softly next to her.
She stretched and waited for the remedy to cool before but before she knew it, Voah found herself staring blanking out into the trees that rose beyond the borders of the Misty Ward. She blinked and shook her head, taking the cup into her hands. The drink was warm. That was strange. It was like she had gone into a meditation without even realizing it. She added a drop more of hot water and took a sip. Perfect. That would clear her head.
She went over all of her most vivid memories that she had before leaving Helias. She came to the decision that it would be good for her to write about them in a journal, much like Iker Pahadron did in his Road To Salvation. Her prior experiences with the cryomancer, Evanora Frost, alone was probably worthy of a historical account.
She would keep her mind active. Although reading interested her, it might make her tired, so she would write and sketch and paint as she did in her days of study. That was something she was missing since coming to Arcadia. Perhaps she would work on putting some of her writing in code. Take it easy. She sipped the medicine and retracted her legs from the edge. She would get started as soon as possible while there was still daylight.
