Didn't Expect To Run Into You
Islana's mind was distracted by her newly acquired knowledge. Her very core felt disturbed by the idea a child might be sacrficed. Now, the concern of what might have happened to Hendrick layered on top of everything. She hadn't slept well in days and didn't seem as if that would change anytime soon.
When Islana made her way into the Drunken Hare, her eyes glanced around the room looking for a quiet corner to sit in so she could contemplate what has weighing on her. It took a second but she spotted a hand raised. The woman wasn't expecting to see anyone she knew at the pub.
Her surprise was mixed with, an odd, ever so slight feeling of relief upon seeing that the hand belonged to Jiyn. She walked towards his table.
"I'm glad to see you." Islana said as she took a seat. "I am surprised though, I thought you were headed north."
She knew he needed to be updated, she would but a greeting and perhaps an ale was needed first.
