Sentinel Island - Beach -Day 5

After walking in the dark, Nicolas, Tarmen and Hunter made their way to the coast where they first arrived. They noticed the lack of natives and beasts along with their noises. However even though the signal fire tower was ready to light, there was a concern they would be walking into a trap. Then they noticed a dust devil off the side looking like it was waiting for them. Hunter then whispered, “Well I can light the beacon with a flaming arrow but it will give away our location and who knows what traps are waiting for us on the beach?”

Tarmen never liked these situations. Too much goes wrong when you are hunted and nothing is worse than a rigged escape route. Looking at the imp, Tarmen couldn’t even tell if it was tired or not, it just hovered there.
“We have no choice. Our only escape is lightin’ that beacon. Once that is done, then its up to Zin whether it’s our time or not.”

Nicolaus followed the lead of the woodsmen, trying to be as silent as possible and another set of eyes. Hunter kept his eyes peeled as he was ready to fire another arrow if needed as the beacon was on fire and getting bigger by the minute.

The beacon started to smoke. The dust devil disappeared or so it seemed.

Alexis and Voah now aproaching the beach could see the plume of smoke above the canopies. In The Hogue Blackwolf and some of the sailors started to launch the boat to collect their comrades.

Back at the beach a few metres behind where the trio was hiding a figure materialized...
