The trees

Ostiarium forests - late afternoon

Hendrik was about to take the tarp. They did not have the tools to bury the corpses. But when he heard Wim say that he had come out here because of the trees he froze. His hands went to his baton. Jiyn moved his hands slowly to his short sword.

This sounded to much like what the old farmer had said.

"What do you mean the trees were calling you?" Hendrik asked pushing for more answers. What could these bodies, the old farmer, the trees and the young noble had in common.
