Echoes of Fang

Odsier Plains - Odonine War Camp

As Koshnem sat by his fire, a low humming started to lift above the hubris of the camp noise. At first all he could hear was a cadence in the wind, a familiar one at that. One that seemed to intensify as it moved from the edges of the camp towards the central fire, picked by the harsh cold winds.. A song. A song as old as their people. A song of home.

He grinned, listening to the words, as more and more voices joined in the distance until he could no longer contain the pride in swelling in his heart and joined his own harsh booming voice to it...

In the shadows of the Fang,
Where the ice and mountains sang,
We were forged in fire and steel,
Warriors of ancient zeal.

Odonine, Odonine,
Bound by earth and blood divine,
Raise your voices, swords in hand,
We defend our sacred land.

From the peaks to frozen plains,
Our valour flows like blood in veins,
With Fosia, our god, we stand,
Unyielding force, a mighty band.

Odonine, Odonine,
Bound by earth and blood divine,
Raise your voices, swords in hand,
We defend our sacred land.

Cry out, Oh warriors, to the sky,
Let the battle hymn arise,
With Noraura’s icy breath,
We march to war, we march to death.

By the light of winter’s fire,
Our eyes are bond to see,
Our deeds, our battles, our ire
Death, walk with me.

Odonine, Odonine,
Bound by earth and blood divine,
Raise your voices, swords in hand,
We defend our sacred land.

As the drums of war resound,
And the enemy’s strength is found,
Know the Odonine will rise,
Victory’s Light or our Demise...
