Sentinel Island - Haven
The old woman held Gonyaul's gaze with ease. There was an innocence there that often could only be gazed in the eyes of small children as they look to the world with wonder and excitement that life chips away from adults.
The omens had held true. Their champion, had found him exactly where predicted. In the company of Helian warriors and an Arbiter. A shade of the old world coming to haunt them once again.
It could only mean that her dreams were true, the Inquisition was in Arcadia. The ebbs and flows of her visions spoke of the coming war. Of fire and ice. Of a mother unchained from the depths. Of a bastard son unleashed and siblings demise. A land broken. An horror from the void stirring in the West. One that could even challenge Y'Ghotan, the Flame Shard. And of course she dreamt of the Pillars...
She pushed back a wave of grief and regret. After so long, being dragged back into the fold of the eternal war, felt bittersweet. She was too old to live through what was to come. But not her daughter. Stalwart of Allos, Defender of Haven.
No, the time for hiding was over. And as The Enchiridion of Aziagkar taught, nothing in this life was one's to keep. Events outside of our control should not disturb us in the slightest.
"Tell me of the Inquisition. What are they planning in the stone city? Tell us everything that has transpired since you arrived at these shores."
