A Quick Survey

As they passed by the wrecked ship Hunter could guess that topic was on everyone's mind. After all it was obviously made somewhere in a different country and the scholars were fixed on studying it as much as possible in the few minutes they could see it. To Hunter it meant they may have another country to deal with for better or worse in the future. Granted he was curious to learn about this third party, but time was not their friend on a mission like this. He did his best to see the burn marks and guess how they were made in case he had to avoid it in the future. Then they pulled up their rowboat to the sandy shore.

“Alright, let’s do this. We will get back to this one.”

She pointed her thumb at the wreck.

“Tarmen, your time to shine. Hunter, counting on your skills. Everyone else: grab your stuff and stay together. Move out.”

Hunter nodded as he hopped from the boat and began checking the area for any dangers and possible trap points they could use. He quickly analyzed the vines, tree types, fruit, ground and wild life in the area. They were already at a disadvantage in this environment so they needed any edge they could get to survive and escape later on if things went south.
