The Trees Await

Watching as the old man was taken away Islana wondered what could have caused such a break from reality. There was no answer at the moment and Islana appeared to be just left with questions

Islana was secretly hoping to see the site herself and was glad when she was allowed to go along with Hendrick and the solider who had apparently found the old man.

The soldier appeared to be not much older than herself. He was tall. Well, the young woman being on the short side thought many people were tall but she figured anyone would have thought of this man as tall. Beyond physical appearance however getting more of an idea about him would take longer.

She walked into the woods with the guard and the soldier wondering what awaited them.
