Arcadia's southern coast
Alexis was an experienced, seasoned warrior, a veteran of dozens of campaigns, she had fought across many battlefields, against other warriors, mercenaries, thugs and bandits. She had even fought the occasional duel. But the woman raining down blow upon blow on her shield was nothing like she had faced before.

Ekero groaned as Tarmen rolled him up from the sand, coughing but patting the young man on the shoulder to let him know he was alright. His back had taken the brunt of the impact and he likely had bruised or cracked a few ribs. They both looked on as their two companions took on their attacker.

As if by command two lightning bolts shot down from the sky, like shinning blade of a knife, hitting the two blue rods laying in the beach like an explosion.
The blast took everyone by surprise, a flash of white washed over everyone, the sound almost bursting eardrums, throwing the party off their feet and showering them with chunks of sand and earth.
While everyone tried to regain their senses, the silver warrior made her way to the prone Vaux...
