Located in the Asp Peninsula well inside the realm now only known as the Forsaken Lands, lies the mysterious and the stalwart Shrine-City of Ereuhin.
The only one of its kind to exist outside of Mizar's borders, it is the smallest of all the Shrine-Cities erected to the Pillars pantheon.
Built upon the ruins of a much older coastal city, long abandoned, it was quickly settled and parts of it restored.
Now it's surrounded by sloping ramparts sixteen metres high and about twenty five metres wide, bordered in some places by
connecting brick walls and networks of tunnels. Strangely, buildings are integrated into the ramparts.
Before the end of Noctua Inquisition and the Catalytic destruction that spread through the Forsaken Lands, Ereuhin was a major commercial and urban centre serving as important port in northern Helias.
Ereuhin is the only known city to have survived the power unleashed by Torkaus at Murontomaga. How it manages to this day to keep the poisoning and destructive forces at bay is the subject of much debate among scholars and theologians.
Most believe it's the power of the Goddess herself but many point to the strange cyclopean carved plinths a mile inland from the city walls.
A mystery as deep as the followers of the moon goddess.
