Addressing The Guard
There was no surprise in Islana from the way the labourers responded to her. When one threatened her she had half a mind to let her arrow fly, slightly above their heads, just enough to let them know she wasn't to be messed with. Never once though did she flinch.
A sound of a gruff voice stopped all thoughts
of sending that arrow though the air. Islana put her bow down so it was no longer in a threatening position and turned to face the man who had approached her from behind.
Her glance at anything but his face was brief but enough to catch a glimpse of the arm band which signaled him as a City guard.
"Sir," She knew enough to address him as such, "The problem is of these men who feel that being cruel to this poor beggar is entertainment. If they will simply let him be and move along it is easily enough solved."
