Alexis’s eyes rested thoughtfully on Voah’s turned away form, before looking over to the young woman.
“Either way, she should be very wary about the Brotherhood, if your observation is correct.”
She squatted down, looking the young witch in the eyes and addressed her directly.
“Silina. Tarmen says the Brotherhood showed extensive interest in you.”
She thought back to what Tar had told her. The origin of her magik.
“If that is true, I’m fairly sure it has to do little with you aiding us. They… might not be through with you. Whatever you choose to do… you should keep that in mind.”
Silina considered the woman's words carefully. She did not agree that the Brotherhood had shown extensive interest in her last night. They had been after Tarmen. She was sure of that. She nodded again taking her words to heart but she did not needed a stranger to tell her to be weary of the Brotherhood of the Ebony Hand.
She looked at Tarmen.
"They weren't after me. He saved my life in the desert. I saved his today." She said standing up. "My debt is now paid." She hesitated for a few seconds and walked towards the exit, hoping no one moved to stop her.
Once Voah had a few moments to take it all in instead of acting on impulse, to her surprise, it wasn’t hard for her to accept the facts. Silina had indeed saved them all, and it was clear now that this group would easily welcome anyone in their midst who proved loyal; even a witch.
Voah determined at the very least to be civil to her savior.
As it turned out, she wasn't going to have to worry too much about it all, as the girl had decided to take her leave.
Voah stood and said, "Wait..."
Then she a took a few steps in the witch's direction and gave her a bow.
"An h'nim t'an thresil."
~ I give you thanks ~
It was a challenge that took everything Voah had to express her gratitude to a witch, but it was something she decided was the right thing to do.
Silina did not look back again. She needed to see the sky again, feel the wind against her skin. She prayed her actions did not anger the Twins.
