The Hogue

Timestamp: Ostiarium Doccks - Daybreak

You arrive at the docks well in advance of the required time. The sun was still low in the horizon but you could tell it was going to be a grey and overcast day. A bitter cold wind was sweeping thorugh from the Bay of Pearls into the city. 'The Hogue' stands ready to take to sea with the rising tide.

Manned by a crew of sturdy looking sailors, 'The Hogue' is a two mast schooner that you often see moored in the city's dock. Standing with her Captain is Till, a sailor some of you know, especially the Arbiter. He shows you aboard and you are directed below deck, where you can store your gear and where you will sleep during the three day voyage. You are free to roam the top deck during that time unless the weather turns.

The deck looks like it was scrubbed clean recentely although in places you see persistent bloodstains, likely from the fishing, the vessel if often used for. Through the grate set into the deck you can see a ladder extending down.

Once you settle and look at your surrondings you see the sailors cast off the stern lines, moving to secure the bow line to a mid-boat position on the dock. Sails are unfurled and the vessel put into forward motion as the ship's steering wheel turns hard away from the dock. Increase speed slowly until the stern is well clear of the dock.
None of you thought you were going to be back on a shi so quickly after your two month trip to Arcadia.

As the sun rises above the horizon so does 'The Hogue' leave port towards Sentinel Island.
