Gra'akast breathes

Holy City

Gra'akast seemed to hold its breath in expectation and anticipation over what was coming. News that the three Penitents had started the Trial and a new Vessel was being selected for the coming incarnation of Sister Locust.

More and more Septs arrived in the city and the areas around Gra'akast bringing their numbers, weapons and might to add to the growing war camps surrounding the city.

Most living Ozainae had never witnessed so many of their own people together in the same place, as if the desert had pushed everyone into the Great Oasis and now its burning sands stood emptier that they had in generations.

Voah - You returned to the city with the man you know as Alcuin, holding the egg you stole needing to know why the Black Robes were using it in its blood ritual and to what purpose. You and the man decide to stay low for a while and decide you should not meet for a few days. You share whatever you decide is worth with Gonyaul, who has kept trying to find work at the docks although most newcomers were arriving on land and geared for war.

Alexis - After your interrogation of the Black Robe and your night in the city, the voices have grown silent. Even the pull of the hammer subsides. You know you will need to continue watching out for the Brotherhood, they might know more about where the other piece of the hammer is. You start wondering if more clues for the whereabouts of the shaft might be found in the other two obelisks.

Tarmen - You make some good coin betting on yourself during a few fights. Some men approach you in hopes of making more coin while the city is busting at the seams with people. You get the feeling that this type of fight will become rarer and offer slim pickings once the Ozainae march to war. You hear word about the Trial, the one you know that Silina was here to join. Talks of.an immortal being that jump from body to body evading death through the generations. You also hear rumours and talk that one of the other Penitents is a foreigner.

Shalia - The next few days are spent in the company of the the Ascendant. There is little else to do while awaiting for the Trial to be over expected enjoy his company and learn as much as you can. You toy with the possibility of finding a Bonecaster to contact the Warchieftan but divinators are not easy to find in Gra'akast.

Malacost - His ingress into the war camp with the Arbiter shows him how deep-rooted magik and its practice is in Arcadia. The Ozainae are mobilising for war and despite his appetite to find the ice witch it becomes clearer that maybe returning with what you learned to Ostiarium is the sensible course of action. One that you will have to sound the Arbiter for.
