"I would leave it all behind in a heartbeat, just to get lost in those eyes." He said still smiling. He sat back and finished is drink. "I guess offering you a place in my harem is out of the question, than?" She could tell by his tone that he was joking and meant no offense.
"I'm the third son of my father. I am afforded much luxuries and freedoms that my older brother and sister cannot afford." He said looking at the night sky and it's myriad of stars in the moonless night.
"I was expected to make my own way in life from a young age, and have done well for myself. The affairs of my Sept don't often interfere with my wants and needs." He offered her another cup of wine.
"I will conclude my business in
the city in the next fortnight. And after that I will be travelling west. To Rorath and Barren Top." He paused and whispered. "I have little interest in being dragged into the coming war and will conduct my affairs from afar." He paused knowing many of his own Sept would not be afforded that chance.
