Battling The Skara (Part One)

The Sk'elep growled, then took off towards the right side of the Skara. Divide and conquer, apparently that was the plan.

Islana stepped on her right ankle, only to feel a sharp pain move upward through her leg. Clearly she was injured, but didn't think or more liked hoped it wasn't broken. Well, there was no time to waste worrying about it.

With a winch, the young woman made her way as quickly as she could to the left side of the Skara.

Even from here, the sounds of Sk'elep could be heard. It seemed to be successfully distracting the large creature.

Islana pulled her arrow out of leg, where it was still embedded. Moving in a crawling motion through the mud, where the tail was, and grabbed the other arrow.

Limping her way to the front of the Skara, Islana grabbed her bow, which had fallen off upon being grabbed. There was suddenly a
yip heard.

The redhead sent a rock flying through the air and it hit the Skara square on the side of its head. Well, that got the beast's attention and it headed towards the huntress.

The giant scorpio moved quickly forward. One of its pincer hit Islana sending her sideways and to the ground. She scrambled backwards just in time to avoid being caught.

The Skara was close now.

Perfect.

The huntress aimed and sent the first arrow quickly up and towards the creature.
