Pilgrimage of Bones

Islana kept her eyes and ears open for any signs of danger and after many heartbeats she could not sense or see any impending doom.

The girl had moved closer to her as if seeking protection or shelter. Or maybe even just to feel someone else's presence. Gods knew how long she had been here. The huntress herself struggle to remember how many days she had been travelling for since leaving Shalia and the safety of the oasis behind.

A week? Maybe more? She could not tell.

The girl looked at her and decide there and than that this was going to be her new protector. She smiled shyly. And pointed to her chest.

"Madaya." She said in a sweet voice. Her complexion was dark, of someone that was born and raised in the heat of the desert. Her brown eyes big and bright, like most children before life dulls them with the poison of life. Her hair was brown up to her shoulders and curly.

She pointed to the horizon.

"Gra'akast."
