Two days after the Arbiter's expedition left towards the Odsier winter pastures to the west of Ostiarium, a small group left the city under the cover of darkness before the winter sun rose across the plains.

Sir Zane, accompanied by Melandra Avalloc,escorted by Alexis Greyriver and Tarmen Frespit, made their way north, towards the distant mountain range the natives called Fang.
