Into Arcadia

The Fall Festival came and went and the rainy season started in Arcadia. Everywhere one looked people were getting ready for the winter ahead. The city was for the first time in three years as ready as it had ever been to weather the season ahead. Harvest had been rich and food storages were at full capacity.

One week after the Fall Festival a group of colonist made their way west of the city into the plains and grasslands beyond Ostiarium on a trading and reconnaissance mission. One that could have profound changes for the future history of Arcadia.

The group was given a wagon pulled by two horses, to transport two casks of ale, ten leather saddles, a box of iron nails and spikes, a few crates of purple potatoes, some assorted metal tools and glass. These were to be traded by heads of cattle and a few horses which Ostiarium was in dire need of.

The group was led by Arbiter Voah, who was accompanied by Boyce Blackwolf and Wim Riese. An acolyte joined the Arbiter as well as the city's resident cartographer. Four soldiers made up the rest of the group including newcomer Jiyn while Hunter served as their scout.

They had all heard the stories though. No other expedition into Arcadia had returned.
