JP with Omni and Lorem:
On Litany's saddle, Voah shielded her eyes with a hand, painfully trying to recall the traumatic events that followed. She shook her head.
"The witch opened her mouth, her jaw seemed to... stretch... unhinge…"
Voah gasped, experiencing the moment all over again.
"And she reached out her bony hand to my face... then I smelled the blood, for it was on the tips of her fingers as she grasped my chin… all of the light seemed to flicker and diminish as if... as if she was somehow… inhaling it... and then... I swear I saw her face become younger... filling with vigor... my own essence, leaving me…"
Gonyaul couldn’t believe what he was hearing. The story took an even darker twist then he could have imagined. His overactive imagination was literally visualizing the moment with dread. It was like he was a spectator of that fear filled moment, but was powerless to do anything about it.
She pulled Litany to a halt and dismounted, her eyes wide and wet, she walked aimlessly into the fields before finally pausing. She bent over slightly with her head down and her hands on her knees.
Her chest heaved with each staggered breath, she tried to steady herself and hold it back but like so many times before, the emotions swelled to a breaking point. She drew her sword and let out a heart-wrenching wail of pain and hate...
"Majaaa!!! she cried.
There was no target to swing at so she sagged to her knees, stabbing the blade into the grass and pummeled the ground with her fists before holding her head in both hands.
Gonyaul brought Amu to a stop a few feet after Voah had unexpectedly dismounted and began walking off. He dropped to the ground and followed after her. As she vented her pain and discomfort with the memory, Gonyaul stood near in her line of sight. He did not want to interrupt her coping and decided to wait patiently until she needed, or wanted, comforting.
