To the Victor Goes the Spoils

JP with Voah and Gonyaul:

It was a strange yet beautiful thing happening out here in the plains.

The physical play of two adults told a far different truth than the grim reality that was happening many places elsewhere.

…a story that told partially of each other’s agility, strengths, and youthfulness. Told that perhaps innocence did not have to be lost.

The night was coming on and with it, possible dangers. The mood would have to get more serious and Voah would have to be the one to deescalate, or Hoi knows how far that play could have gone.

When Voah finally released him she stood in victory with a pleased look on her face. She was still undefeated when it came to a tussle. Her present self was being congratulated by her younger self.

Gonyaul was panting and trying to recover on the ground. His outfit was partial undone, making him look a little like her unwrapped present. He still had a residual effect of laughter lingering even though her fingers were no longer playing him like an instrument. Eventually the feeling of ghost hands faded and he lay there looking up at her. Both had an intense look of desire that was on the very edge of tipping over.

His hips felt like he was trying to reign in a horse that didn’t want to be broken. It was taking every ounce of his willpower and self control to keep the horse from breaking free.

As the cooler night air and reprieve gave them both a chance to breathe, they just looked at one another with glowing smiles on their faces. Like how a good cry could relieve grief, this moment washed away a magnitude of stresses. Admits all the seriousness in the world, they were purely enjoying the moment with youthful delight. It would be a memory they would both take with them forever, no upcoming tribulation could ever take this away now.

The words they playfully exchanged, before she helped him up and they worked together to prepare camp for sleep, significantly encouraged their newfound relationship.

Gonyaul would take the first watch. He was so wired with euphoria that he doubted he would have trouble staying awake.
