A blush crossed Kent's face at Tam's words, only darkening when she bit at his ear. Wrapping his arms around her for a moment, he kissed her cheek and smiled. "I may not be with you physically, but I'm still there with you, okay?" He informed before going to the nurse and getting admitted.

He just prayed the surgery would go well.

River was waiting at one of the tables with Yazuhiko, both looking over her laptop and sharing idle chitchat about schedules and other important things. Her ice cream was slowly getting eaten, but the moment Serenity and Chris arrived, River ran over to offer them both hugs.

"I'm so happy you're here! This is Yazuhiko!" The photographer chimed, gesturing to the kind man sitting at the table. He offered them a wave, brown eyes taking them in as he brushed dark locks from his face.

"It is nice to meet you, Serenity. Who is the young man with you?" Yazuhiko asked.

She waved a hand and took the tea from Max, quickly getting to work. "Oh, don't you start that, boy. I always make tea!" She called with a big smile on her face.

The little mouse on Max's head let out a little squeak and happily nuzzled into his hair, only to lift its little head when the doorbell rang. Bonnie sniffed the air, hissed, and hide behind Kevin.
