Kent shifted and shrugged. "I'm pretty sure I can wait. I've been handling it pretty well so far." He explained with a slight smile. Patting Tam on her shoulder to reassure her, he got back to eating his meal. "I've had worse, I can promise you that."

River smiled, happy to see Chris eating. Once she was done with her own food, though, she got to work with the cleaning and had the kitchen all tidied up by the time everyone was heading to bed later.

"But you know what I want, Max..." Kevin said with a heavy sigh. "Though, with my luck, I might not get that chance now." A sad look crossed his face as he watched Bonnie go on the hunt for another mouse. "I'm in big trouble, aren't I? Not even the lawyer can fix this shit..."

Across the room, Bonnie had cornered a poor mouse that had its back against the wall and was squeaking dramatically.
