A Major Screwup

Tam sighed. "I should've known better... I just... I was on a roll! I was feeling good doing this job. And I just... I fucked up..."

Chris smiled and nodded. "Winter... I like Winter. Yeah. I'd love that." He looked to his sister. "Can I have milk?"

Tam smiled and went to get the boy a milk.

Max slammed on the brakes and pulled over to the side of the road. "Kevin??? What the fuck?!?! Why??? WHY???" It took all his strength to not punch Kevin at that point as his brain struggled to fully comprehend the situation that Kevin had gotten himself into. But it wasn't just the fact that Kevin had just fucked up royally by sleeping with that crazy bitch. It was the pain in his heart that was stemming from the fact that when presented with Max and a crazy underage girl, Kevin went with the underage girl.

Max gripped the wheel, and started breathing hard as his anger threatened to burn through his ribcage. Then the silence grew deep and heavy as his breathing slowed.

"Get out." Max said so lowly it almost was inaudible.
