Suddenly very self-conscious about the bruises, Kent pulled on his jacket and slowly ate the food. "I'll be fine." He murmured, pushing back locks of his brown hair. "If you plan to keep me, I have to pick up a few things from home. Dad is most likely going to raid my room eventually..."

He hated to admit it, but he had to face his dad eventually. No one else could face the old bastard.

River narrowed her eyes at Serenity before smacking her shoulder. "Stop being so negative about your career." She hissed just before the skater went to take care of Winter.

Rolling her eyes, the photographer turned her gaze to Tamara. "Is there anything we can do to...help?" She asked, glancing toward the only male in the room. Something in her gut said that Tam wanted to keep Kent away from his father at all costs. "I do have a camera, after all."

Kevin chuckled as he watched Bonnie, growing more tired with each minute. "Sounds like a plan." He said. "Can you remind me to call my parents tomorrow? I need to see how they're doing."
