CSCSS Senku'sha-Maru Outpost - Hangar
After the crew had finished with their run of the outpost, they returned to the ship where the new crewmembers awaited. There were two men, a woman, and two curious blue individuals (clearly synthetics) dressed in utility suits conversing quietly with the Captain.
The first man introduced was stoic in appearance, with a well-defined beard, tattooed arms, and a contemplative expression. He stood with his arms folded across his work vest and immediately looked to the approaching crew.
Captain Yoshida introduced the man, “Meet Nikolay Tryzubenko, wildcatter.”
“Hey. Happy to meet ya, Nikolay,” said Sestero.
“Please. Call me Niko,” he said with a rugged smile in a Russian accent.
"Sestero, Dr. Adama. He'll be primarily working with the two of you," Yoshida informed.
Niko looked at the two mentioned, "We sniff out the riches together, huh? We get in a tight spot, Niko's the one you want at your back."

With a pair of headphones resting around her neck, the woman sported a curly, voluminous updo hairstyle that cascaded slightly over one eye, adding an effortlessly stylish touch to her look.
With a gentle hand on the woman's shoulder, Yoshida introduced her.
“Ms. Lena Fawkes,” said the Captain. “She’ll be serving in the capacity of a research assistant with the science team.”
“Hey there,” she greeted the team with a warm smile and an happy wave. “Doctor, actually. Archaeology and anthropology. Maybe you’ve read my book. The Dead Give No Fawkes? Well, it didn’t have a great reception, so maybe not.”
Her speech exuded a sort of quirky, bubbly charm--the woman was prone to rambling and was never quite sure when to stop talking.
She continued, unfazed by the polite but puzzled looks, "Speaking of which, did you know that the ancient Arcturians had over twenty words for sand? Fascinating, right? Sand! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to digging into our work together. No pun intended..." Her laughter trailed off, a sparkle of amusement in her eyes at her own tangent.

Captain Yoshida gestured to the other man standing slightly removed from the group, his stance relaxed yet somehow vigilant. "This is Mick Stamfer, an astronomer / astro-cartographer," Yoshida introduced, his voice imbued with a note of respect.
Mick offered a brief nod, his expression unreadable, save for a fleeting smirk that suggested a depth of cynicism tempered with humor. "Uh… Mick," he simply stated with an awkward wave of his fingers, his greeting concise.
Captain Yoshida filled the silence, detailing Mick's responsibilities with a nod towards the man's expertise. "Mick is another research assistant, he'll be mapping the system and documenting our findings. He has an eye for the details that matter, eh Mick?"
If the crew was waiting for Mick to elaborate, he only offered a slight shrug and raised eyebrows, as if to say, "What more is there?" Yet, his silence spoke volumes, suggesting a man who found the vastness of space a canvas for his smatterings of dry wit rather than grandiose speeches.

The hangar door hissed open, and a man in a suit stepped over to the group, his posture rigid and his gaze sweeping the area with an evaluative sharpness. Captain Takezou Yoshida, along with a few members of the crew, waited to greet him, but 'the suit' barely acknowledged the gathering and directed his attention at the Captain.
"Captain Yoshida," the man began, his voice carrying a cocksure, authoritative tone that seemed to fill the room. "Andrew Sparks. I've been appointed from the ICC to make sure this expedition complies with all Interstellar Commerce Commission regulations. I’ll need a full tour of the ship, access to all operational records, and a detailed itinerary of our mission."
His use of "our mission" struck a discordant note, implying a shared endeavor yet delivered with a tone that suggested anything but camaraderie.
"Right... well. Everyone.." Yoshida gestured to the man. "Mr. Sparks, ICC. Here to make sure this trip stays fun."
Ghost-the-dog licked the ICC agent's hand, who pulled back in surprise, then looked at the husky and sniffed in slight annoyance.

Yoshida turned and motioned the two androids forward.
"Finally, allow me to introduce Xera and Ander, our auxiliary synthetics. Seegson Working Joe models, programmed with the latest in engineering and operational support. They'll be assisting Mr. Vieregg and Mr. Sestero with the mechanical and technical aspects of our mission."
"Greetings," said the pair of blue synthetics simultaneously in buzzing vocoder speech.
"Boy, oh boy. A pair of talking crash test dummies, just for me. Captain Yoshida, you shouldn't have." Sestero said with a sarcastic grin. "Come on, you turkeys. Let's go prep cryo for these meat popsicles."
