A Twisted Ride

Ashley, Roxy, Jack and Blossom were in line next to each other. Seeing as only two could seat together Roxy and Ashley decided to settle things with a riveting game of rock paper scissors. Roxy was pouting since Ashley won with her faster reflexes. So Roxy was going to sit with Blossom who was amused by the way Roxy and Ashley were competing for Jack's heart, especially when he was such a grumpy guy. Since they were next they simply had to wait. However Roxy pointed out that she would sit with Jack on the next ride to be fair. Ashely gave Roxy a condescending smile but agreed. Sadly Jack was trying to hide his embarrassment as the crowd was watching him get fought over by to pretty girls.

It wasn't long before the next carts pulled up for them to enter after the last riders departed. Jack and Ashley sat in the front as Roxy and Blossom sat in the back of the car. Roxy was a little miffed but she planned to get dibs on the next ride by Jack to get back at Ashley. Both Roxy and Ashley were crafty and determined to spend time with Jack, even if he was not in the mood. Ironically Jack was glad Blossom was there to keep Roxy and Ashley from taking it to far again.

Then the carts entered the Tunnel of Terror as the attendant said something about, "Enter if you dare." Jack was fazed by ghosts, bugs and violence, unless it was involving Ashley. At this point she was the main thing he feared in life, however when Roxy came around it doubled for him so he feeling twice the stress around them. Granted he did have feelings for Ashley, he didn't want her to know this since he knew she would use that against him. Of course Roxy was a wild card that he had no idea how to deal with. So as they went threw the haunted house ride his mind was unfazed by the attempts at scarring him since he dealt with much worse fear on a regular basis.

The first room was slanted and made the three girls giggle as they slid next to the person to their side. Blossom was leaning on Roxy and Ashley on Jack as they entered the first room. Then the strobe light gave it an eerie effect which made Blossom and Roxy a bit nervous till they screamed when the spiders on strings came down and touched their heads for a bit before going back up. Blossom and Roxy screamed as they swatted the fake spiders away, but the strings pulled them back to their faces.

Then next room had some jump scares but with animatronic monsters in secret rooms. this was less scary for the girls since they had seen a lot of monster movies and had grown numb to this type of scare. The next room had bats drop from the ceiling which did scare Roxy and Blossom again. However the worst part of the ride was the last room and that was the giant roaches and popped out from hidden spots including a fake water fountain that sprayed rubber roaches. Sadly something got stuck in the pipe and it accidently sprayed the rubber roached on the passengers of the carts. The screams could be heard from outside the ride as the majority of the passengers had a roach phobia. Poor Jack was being crushed from the side by a very scared Ashley and he was being chocked from behind by a very scared Roxy. Blossom was holding Roxy from the side in fear as the three of them tried to swat away the rubber bugs.

Jack's face was bright red as he was gasping for air and unable to escape since he was stuck in his seat. Luckily the cart left the room and returned to the starting point where the attendant managed to calm the three girls down so Jack could let got of Jack who's face was turning purple by this point. After leaving the ride Jack needed help walking as the oxygen was returning to his brain. He had Roxy and Ashley supporting him from both sides and he looked like he was the one who was scared from the ride in the eyes of the other patrons. Seeing as Jack was in bad shape they let him rest on a bench as they waited for the others to finish their ride. Blossom felt bad for Jack as he was being doted on by Roxy and Ashley as he was in rough shape. She wondered how he going to endure this life for the next four years.
