And One Makes Three

Heath’s night had gone well, better than expected actually. He was thinking of his walk with Sam as he made his way back to his dorm room.

They sat in the park on a bench; talking about nothing important until it became important. Sam had leaned into him so she was sitting with his arm around her and she was leaning on his chest.

“I’ve been thinking and well…” Sam started speaking with a more serious tone. “I don’t think we need to wait any longer.”

“Does that mean, what I think it means?” He already knew the answer but needed to hear it.

“Yes.” Sam sat up and looked at him. “I want to make it official.”

Heath smiled at her and the two shared a kiss, a long kiss. Once the kiss broke they decided it was time to head back to the school.

Now, though Heath had said good night to her. He had dated before but nothing serious and he certainly had never felt this way about a girl before. He was completely enamored with Sam, he knew he was, he had been for what seemed like a long time. And now they were a couple.

He said hello to some guys that he passed in the dorm; including Zander that was headed back to his own room. He opened the door to the sound of the music being played and the sight of his roommate JD and friend Conner there. He closed the door behind him. “Hey” He went to the fridge and got a soda before sitting down on one of the chairs. “How’s things?” He had seen JD and Rose and Conner and Jocelyn, he knew at least one had gone well but the other he wasn’t sure about. He also didn’t know what either boy was going to tell him.
