Sam is the direct opposite of Rose. She doesn't fake being outgoing instead she is an extrovert. She thinks nothing of just walking up to people and talking to them. She comes across as self-sufficient. maybe a little tough without being mean, just able to stand up for herself.

History

Sarah Maxwell had been dating Thomas Tuller throughout high school. When she was 16 and Thomas 17, she found out she was pregnant with Sam. Neither family had a lot of money but they managed to support the couple as best as they could; even throwing a little wedding for them.
After Sam was born she and her parents lived for a while with her father's parents while her Dad worked and saved up money.
Eventually, her parents managed to get their own place. Her parents loved their daughter a great deal and both worked hard to give her what she needed.
Unfortunately; they had gotten married young and eventually ended up divorced. It as amicable though no major trama and her father still help support her. She had a good relationship with both of her parents.
Her parents, however, always struggled with money.
When she was in 8th grade; she got offered a full-ride academic scholarship to a boarding school.
Her first few days she was tormented a little by the rich kids; though they learned that didn't work much on her. She then met her neighbor, Rose Newhall. Instantly the two girls bonded. They became friends and after a few months, they were best friends. It wasn't any secret that they were best friends so when Rose just seemed to vanish; Sam was asked a lot of questions by people. She though kept to her work and never told anyone what had really happened.
