The Boys

(Takes place after JD and Roses return)

Conner had seen JD and Rose holding hands as they walked up to the building. he got a big smile. Conner had been trying to get him to pick up on girls all summer but he was too shy. Now he meets Rose and in two days they are holding hands. Conner wondered what he had done wrong. Trying to get him to go out with girls in the summer. He knew JD was not gay JD had made that quite clear as Conner rubbed his arm remembering what JD called an armlock. Then when he found out he was some teen MMA fighter. Conner was happy about the match and would tease him about it. watching Heath and Sam right behind JD and Rose holding hands was no surprise to Conner. He knew it could be any time before they announced they were dating. Conner gave a laugh thinking about all the turns and twists of school this year. Gossip girl will have a field day at the beach party he thought. The rich school Princess some thought of her and Scholarship boy like JD dating he could see all the rich kids crying.

Conner walked to the hall going to the boy's dorm and leaned against the wall near a door to be a little out of sight. waiting on JD so he could ambush him and get the scoop on what happened. Conner looked up as a few guys pass he just gave him a nod as they passed.

Sometime later JD was walking down the hall. Conner could tell he was not paying attention too much as he walks by Conner not even seeing him. Conner walked up behind him and put his hand on his shoulder "JD" he said loudly. JD jumped a bit suddenly Conner realized that JD's hand was on his and traped it when JD looked back he turned some making Conner almost lose his balance. Thrusting his elbow towards Conner's ribs. JD stopped just sort of hitting Conner with his elbow. "Not funny Conner" said JD sternly letting Conner's hand go. Conner shook his head "only you karate kid" said Conner sarcastically.

"haha Conner I did not even see you" said JD relaxing some. Conner smiled "OK lover boy I know what you were thinking about. Blond hair and blue eyes you were holding hands" said Conner. JD turned red slightly then got a defiant look "and, so, yes we heald hands Rose is beautiful smart and has the most pretty eyes I have ever seen." JD said thinking on Rose. Conner smirked "wow you have it bad my friend. You have been smitten by her. I think that's a good thing for you, don't mess this up buddy." said Conner. "It's not like I gave her a ring Conner. But ya she is great. Tonight could have not been any better for the first night." JD replied. Conner thought for a moment "what about Sam?" JD got a confused look on his face "Sam?" he question. "Ya her bodyguard everyone knows this they are the best of friends." JD looked at the floor thinking "Sam.... Hmm... I have talked to her already once during the Ice cream social I think I am ok with her. I guess I will know at breakfast" said JD. Conner walked to the side more getting out of the middle of the hall. "I guess we will. Just treat the school Princess right and you should be ok." Conner said.

Walking fallowing Conner "Princess, wait, what?" Conner let out a laugh 'It's a nickname some call her. Some of the rich kids started it last year but no one calls her that to her face." JD smiled well that would make my great grandmother happy. if it was true." Conner looked at JD funny "Oh the one in Spain right?" asked Conner. "Ya that one" answered JD. "Hey man, I am happy for you" said Conner. JD looked at him "thanks, I think it is time for a coke. Hay how did Jocelyn turn out? I saw you under the tree." JD asked. Conner smiled "good but I will know more tomorrow it's a start one day at a time JD" answered Conner. The two went to JD's room got some cokes from the fridge sat back and played some music and planned their next moves.
