On the Road Again

Simon grated his teeth as the man continued to stand beside the table and offer up his advice, but he sat silently and allowed the man to speak in order to avoid any further delays. Lowering his gaze to the blade of his axe and breathing in deeply as the man spoke of the woods, Simon looked up at Katya as she spoke before responding, "I've been in these woods many times, kind sir. I know of their dangers, but thank you for your concern."

Standing from the table, he looked over at Katya and responded in a less angered tone, "You are welcome and I agree. We have spent enough time here, I am itching to be on my way again." Walking over to the innkeeper, he slid two silver coins across the counter and spoke, "The man mentioned some sort of travel special. I would like two."

After the exchange with the innkeeper was finished, he left the building and moved out to the horses. Mounting Maddox, he nodded in agreeance to what she had to say before adding with a chuckle, "Yes, but I would feel much more comfortable with my hauberk on."

Ooc - Sorry for the delay guys. I've been trying to keep my sanity at work and not listen to my homicidal urges, so I didn't want to transfer it into Simon or Gular. Would be made great Adisla content lol but I didn't want to dwell on the thoughts too much.
