It did not take long for Simon to discard of his armor, stacking the plates on a fallen log as he quickly got undressed. Leaving his leather padded armor underneath his tunic and trousers that he left on along with his boots, he steode out of the underbrush and towards the stallions. Carefully stuffing the plates of armor and his hauberk into several bags, he glanced over his shoulder as Katya asked about her gear. Smiling and nodding he gestured towards Striker's left flank before speaking, "There should be room in those bags, just make sure you even them out. Also, be careful with the armor in there, Striker will need it if I come upon a battle that I have time to properly prepare for."

Trusting her to be cautious of how she out her belongings in, he hung his shield on a special hook on Maddox's left flank before strapping it in place and then covering it with a brown canvas. Not only would the canvas, once strapped down, protect the shield from the elements, it would also shield it from the eyes of any onlookers, further displaying the fact that he was not a knight. Slipping his mace into a tube on Maddox's saddle, it would hold the weapon with the handle out but would also hide it from peering eyes. From the saddlebags he took a short, one-handed axe that he slipped into his belt on his right hip and a dagger on his left.

Giving Maddox a once over to make sure that everything was stowed away and looked a little worse for wear, he looked towards the column of chimney smoke before speaking, "I would not be objected to a warm meal, but I must tell you something. The establishment is a brothel first, inn second." Lifting the bags on Maddox's flanks to feel the weight, he gave the steed an affectionate pat on the side of the neck, thanking him silently for hokding the heavier burden before pulling himself into the saddle and pointing him towards the establishment. Looking over towards Katya, he nodded before speaking, "I have heard that the food is quite good though."
