Story Time

"Whatever. Either way, I don't care, allright?" Rolling her eyes she responded quickly. “Well that is a blatant lie.” Mumbling under her breath, she turned away from him irritated.
Hearing the exhaustion of the argument in his voice, she returned the feeling with a sigh. The awkward tension slowly started to disappear with passing time. Hearing the humor return brought a sudden burst of butterflies. Looking back up at him, she saw the hint of a smile.

“You know, I am surprised you didn’t make a sex joke about straddling. What is your story, Artem? Why are you a traveling man who will ally with the people with money? Are you only sticking around because I am keeping you well fed?”
