Ceriden took a deep breath, then continued, "So, the reason your current master purchased you is because she needs a sacrifice for a spell she wants performed. Fortunately, your condition disqualifies you from being able to be used as that sacrifice, which I will explain to her shortly."

Ceriden was about to address Sabina, but decided to ask one more thing to the slave before bringing her up to speed."You appear to be famished. Will you be able to consume chicken blood, and if so, how many chickens will we need to get for you to satiate your thirst?"
