Jay struggled with the controls, trying to use what little power was in the
retros and the failing engines to get them to safety.
"NO!" He cried out as the lights, engines, retros, computers and any other
equipment switched itself off.
"Don't worry, captain." Holly said with confidence. "Every machine needs to shut
down and restart for any changes to take effect. We will be back online in just
a minute." He smiled at Jay who looked at the cannons charging themselves for
another target practice on the Starbug.
"Yeah, but they will be ready in just a second. We're sitting ducks!"

As the computer rebooted, the electronic lock on the door reset itself too. Allowing Efof to open it manually.
"Hey, what was that for?" He asked Micky, who was sat in the co-pilots chair.
"Sorry mate, I thought it was easier if I just did it myself rather than explain."
"Fair enough" Said Efof. "I don't like long explanations anyway. Too many words."
The Ffionian looked at the Blue Dwarf, they were getting much closer now to crashing into it's hull.
"I thought you'd fixed it?" Efof said. "We're still flying towards the Blue Dwarf AND we're being shot at."
"I-" Started Micky, but the Captain cut him off.
"Micky has solved the problem. But has created another very similar. In fact, identical problem." Jay said sarcastically.
"It WILL work!" Micky said in his defence.
"We're going to crash before the computer comes back up!" Efof said.
"Actually…." Said Jay. "In the nanosecond I had just before the computer rebooted itself, I managed to nudge us slightly in another direction. We're now heading directly towards a landing bay."
"But the doors are shut!" Said Efof, pointing at the screen.
"Yeah, the doors are shut. Durrr!" Said Micky, jumping on the bandwagon to mock Jays idea.
"Yes, I know!" The Captain snapped back. "But if Mk10 can open the doors in time, we might just sail through."
"And crash on the flight deck instead of into the hull. Good plan." Said Micky.
Jay shot him a look of anger. "One thing at a time."
"Maybe Mk10 and Rosette can fill the flight deck with cushions so it's a soft landing." Efof said hopefully. "Or balloons."
"Don't be stupid Efof. I don't think they've got enough time to blow up a hundred or so balloons that it'd need to cushion our landing!"
"Not with that attitude!" Efof shot back.
"Chrysler to Mk10 and LaChance, Chrysler to Mk10 and LaChance. Do you read?" Jay said through the comms.
