Rules

. General Rules
Be Respectful: Treat fellow players with respect. In-character (IC) conflicts stay IC.
No Godmodding: Your character isn’t invincible, nor can they control other characters’ actions without permission.
Stay Within the Setting: This is a gritty, brutal world. Keep characters and events in line with The Boys universe.
Mature Themes: The game includes violence, corruption, and political intrigue. Use discretion and content warnings if needed.
Commit to Posting: Players should aim to post at least once a week. If inactive for more than two weeks, their character may be moved along or removed.

2. Character Rules
Balanced Abilities: Supes must have weaknesses. No Superman-level gods unless they’re NPC-driven villains.
One Main Character: Each player may have one primary character but can play minor NPCs when needed.
No Canon Overwriting: If you play a canon character, stay faithful to their established traits.
Character Deaths: Major characters can die if the story dictates it. Player deaths require discussion first.

3. Combat & Conflict Resolution
Turn-Based Action: Players take turns posting actions. No auto-hitting—describe your attempt, and let the other player respond.
Major Battles: Large-scale fights or crucial confrontations may involve GM intervention or dice rolls for fairness.
Escape Rule: If your character is in a bad situation, you must give the opponent a chance to react instead of forcing an escape.

4. Faction & World Influence
Factions Matter: Your character’s actions influence their faction’s standing and world events.
Game Master Decisions: Major shifts in power, betrayals, or political events will be moderated by the GM based on player actions.
Betrayals & Double Agents: Players may switch sides, but must roleplay it convincingly.

5. Story Progression
Story Arcs: The game is broken into major story arcs, influenced by player actions.
Missions & Events: GMs will introduce missions, world events, and crises to keep the plot moving.
Consequences Are Real: Choices have long-term effects—whether it’s exposing a mole, assassinating a leader, or unleashing the virus.

6. Posting Format & Etiquette
Third-Person, Past-Tense: Posts should be written in third-person, past-tense for consistency.
Length Expectations: No one-liners. At least a paragraph per post to allow meaningful interactions.
OOC (Out of Character) Chat: Keep OOC comments in designated threads or at the end of posts in brackets.
