Power & Life-Force Absorption: Gale can absorb the powers, energies, personality, and physical abilities of superhuman beings through physical contact with the skin of the other person. For the transfer of abilities to be accomplished, Gale’s skin must contact the skin of her victim. Gale can only absorb from living Supes. She can possess the powers of only a single Supe at a time. Gale can even absorb physical characteristics from a victim. This transfer is usually temporary; the transfer may become permanent in certain cases.

History

Origin: As an infant, her single mother had her injected with Compound V. For years, she never showed any power and was written off as a failed experiment. She eventually got her degree in nursing and began working with Vaught. One of her first patients was Stormfront. Not many nurses were willing to put up with that Nazi. So, Gale being the lowest in seniority was forced to. Gale didn’t mind; she liked seeing the Nazi bitch put in her place. She was there when Stormfront bit off her tongue. She tried to save her but something freaky happened and she passed out. Her colleagues said she fainted from the amount of blood, but she knew that wasn’t what happened.

She eventually discovered she had powers, but she kept them hidden from everyone. During her internship in college, she routinely saw what Supes did to normal people, much less criminals. Some of it was intentional, but a lot of it was accidental. She had no desire to be involved in that. She was there to heal, not maim or kill.
