Group: Supes

Alias

Homelander

Rank

Supreme Leader of the American First State, CEO of Vought International, Commander of AFS Security Forces

Appearance

A towering, muscular figure with an all-American, chiseled face, piercing blue eyes, and golden blonde hair. His once-pristine patriotic suit is now subtly altered to reflect his unchecked dominance—darker hues, sharper lines, and insignias reinforcing his absolute rule. His once carefully curated smile now falters more often, revealing flashes of the barely-contained rage and instability beneath the surface. Though he still postures as a benevolent savior, the weight of unchecked power has only sharpened the menace in his presence.

Abilities & Powers

•Superhuman Strength & Durability: Capable of ripping through steel, demolishing buildings, and surviving nearly any form of physical attack.
•Flight: Effortlessly soars at hypersonic speeds, allowing him to reach any point in the world within moments.
•Heat Vision: Generates highly concentrated energy beams capable of slicing through nearly anything, including other Supes.
•Enhanced Senses: His vision and hearing extend for miles, making it nearly impossible to hide from him.
•Psychological Manipulation: Charismatic when needed, he can bend the weak-willed to his cause through intimidation or carefully curated public displays.

Weaknesses & Limitations

•Psychological Instability: His grip on reality is slipping, and his emotions—particularly rage—can override his judgment.
•Narcissistic & Insecure: Desperately craves public adoration, which can be manipulated or weaponized.
•No True Allies: His absolute control has made him paranoid and distrustful, leaving him increasingly isolated.
•Supe-Killing Virus: The only known potential biological threat to his existence, though he refuses to acknowledge its danger.
•Ego Over Caution: He is so confident in his own power that he often underestimates lesser opponents.

History

Homelander was raised in a Vought lab, designed to be the ultimate American superhero. He was molded through psychological conditioning, propaganda, and isolation, leaving him emotionally stunted and completely dependent on external validation.

Once a tool of Vought, he now is Vought, having seized absolute control. With President Calhoun as his puppet and Sister Sage as his strategist, he has reshaped the country into an authoritarian state where Supes are the ruling class and humans exist to serve them. The media portrays him as a messianic figure, the savior of America.

Despite his apparent invincibility, he is not satisfied. Every betrayal, every moment of defiance fuels his underlying insecurity. The resistance frustrates him, Starlight infuriates him, and the looming specter of the Supe-killing virus haunts his subconscious—though he refuses to show fear.

Personality

Homelander is a megalomaniac with a god complex, a man who believes himself to be the rightful ruler of humanity. He thrives on adoration and control, but beneath his composed exterior is a deeply unstable, emotionally stunted child who lashes out when denied his desires. His insecurity manifests as sadistic cruelty, and his grip on reality is increasingly tenuous.

However, he is not stupid. Despite his arrogance, he remains calculating when necessary, using charm, intimidation, and propaganda to maintain dominance. But as his paranoia grows, his capacity for rational thinking is eroding.

Motivations

•Absolute Power: He sees himself as a god and believes humanity should submit to him.
•Public Worship: He needs the masses to love him—or at least fear him.
•Destroying the Resistance: The Boys, Starlight, and anyone defying him are threats to be eliminated.
•Eliminating the Virus Threat: Though he dismisses it publicly, deep down he knows it could be his downfall.
•Legacy: He wants his reign to be eternal, with no question of his supremacy.

Reputation/Public Perception

•Among Loyalists: The ultimate savior, the strong leader America needs. To his worshippers, he is divine, infallible, and unquestionable.
•Among the Resistance: A tyrant, a monster, a god that must be slain. Even among Supes who oppose him, there is deep, primal fear of what he might do if truly provoked.
•Among Vought Executives: A terrifying force. They prop him up because they must, but they also plot against him in the shadows.
•Among His Enemies: An unstoppable force—until proven otherwise. His aura of invincibility is his greatest weapon.
