Appearance

Slim and genefixed, Ophelia has high cheekbones, platinum blonde hair, grey-blue eyes and pale skin.
She usually wears the black EIS uniform, but will reluctantly dress appropriately if the event warrants it.

As warranted by her training, Ophelia comes across as cold and distant, but is in fact a far more empathic and sympathetic person than she'd like to admit.
She is highly intelligent and is not above using her Gift to manipulate others, able as she is to pick up on the subtle cues and tells that others miss, making her keenly perceptive and insightful in conversation.
While she'll tolerate big crowds she doesn't enjoy the constant barrage of intrusive thoughts and prefers her solitude.

History

As the second of four children grown invitro from genetic material from Queen Aster her royal consort, Ophelia was destined for little more than a token tour of military service for a veneer or respectability, followed by a life of unimaginable luxury.

This all changed following the assassination of her eldest brother and erstwhile heir. With his mindstate backups all tragically corrupted by parties unknown, to her distress Ophelia was thrust to the fore as the heir apparent before she was out of her teens.
What followed was an enforced and rapid realignment of Ophelia's priorities: fast tracked to Hearthfort, graduation with honours, enlistment in the EIS, and rapid promotion.
