Old friends and new jobs pt2

Fuck..so he did remember her. she thought to her self. She wasn’t shocked but. She wondered what he thought seeing her like this. Smiling playfully at him she gave shrug “ oh you know same old same old.. what about you?” She asked leaning back on a near by pool table. “ I thought you were off saving the world or something?” She teased.
She hadn’t seen him since he had graduated and shipped out. He was a nice guy. He had been one of the few to not treat her like a pariah when her dad died and her mom started drinking. He was also one of the few that stayed her friend even after she dropped out to start working.
