Dakota zipped up her hoodie and smiled brightly up at him to mask her feelings. “ oh um… actually I’m kind of tired i think I’m going to head home and trash crash…rain check?” She said as she pulled her hair up into a ponytail. She knew Travis would be waiting in the parking lot and was not looking forward to him but she also didn’t want to make it Lyle’s problem. He had no idea what he would be getting his self into with her.
And she wasn’t wrong Travis sat in his truck smoking a cigarette and watching the door, daring her to come out with that pony boy bouncer.
